Configure, update and remove Claude Code mods
Settings, updates and removal for mods you already installed. For the first install, use the install guide.
Change a mod's settings
Mods with options show them in /config inside a session and when you enable the plugin. The repository README says every option has a default, so the install notice N userConfig options not yet set is expected and needs no action. From a shell, this shows which options are set:
claude plugin configure <mod>@modmyclaudeReplace <mod> with a mod name, such as redline, before running a command.
In the site's bundled catalogue snapshot, 12 of 17 public mods declare settings. This table and count come from that snapshot, not from the pinned source review in the footer, so they follow the catalogue as it is updated. Each mod's page lists keys, defaults and descriptions.

Example: Redline has nothing to configure
Redline's README states its settings as "None": the thresholds (60%, 80%, re-arm under 75%) and the 10-minute pace window are fixed. So /config shows no Redline options, and that is correct, not a broken install.
Its one remembered choice is the colour band. /redline band toggles it, and the README says the choice is kept across sessions in the plugin's own store, the only thing Redline writes.
/redline bandUpdate in two steps
Refresh the marketplace first, then the mod. In a session that is already running, reload plugins afterwards.
claude plugin marketplace update modmyclaude
claude plugin update <mod>@modmyclaude/reload-pluginsAn update arrives only when the mod's version moves. The repository requires a version bump for every change to what a mod ships, so if an update reports nothing new, the published version has not changed. SECURITY.md says only the latest commit is supported.
Disable or uninstall
Disabling keeps the mod installed and its settings in place. Uninstalling removes it. The /plugin menu inside a session does the same.
Turn it off, keep it installed
claude plugin disable <mod>@modmyclaudeRemove it
claude plugin uninstall <mod>@modmyclaudeSome mods also declare an enabled setting to switch them off without uninstalling: Cloakroom, Crossroads, Halftime, Headway, Second Wind.
Running a local copy
Loading a mod from a folder with --plugin-dir is a builder workflow. See Build a Claude Code mod.
